Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients in the manufacturing sector, located on the outskirts of Brussels.

Function:

• Prepare VAT and Intrastat declarations, manage audits and ensure compliance
• Analyze the GL, prepare monthly closing entries, reconcile accounts and ensure financial statement
• Verify monthly payroll, manage inventories and perform roll-forward calculations
• Identify and recommend optimizations, participate in projects and support the development of the budget
• Maintain accurate financial records and produce clear financial analyses

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in general accounting
• You speak Dutch and/or French and English fluently
• You are dynamic and energetic, always eager to take initiative and contribute to the team
• You are confident and capable, able to take on responsibilities and deliver results independently
• You are outgoing and communicative, comfortable approaching colleagues and stakeholders to collaborate effectively
